Affordable Care Act: Replace, Reform, Repair or Recreate?

  The Affordable Care Act has been in the spotlight since the change of administration in the White House this past January. Both the House and Senate approved a budget reconciliation bill which allows Congress to repeal parts of the Affordable Care Act that deal specifically with government spending and/or taxes. The deadline for the first draft of this order, January 27th, 2017, has come and gone with no agreement yet on how to proceed. On January 20, 2017, U.S. President Trump signed an Executive Order: Minimizing the Economic Burden of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Pending Repeal.
