Daily Health Tip 2016 – What Causes Fatigue? Part 1

Have you ever noticed how different you feel when you are in the “flow”. Whatever you are doing at the time seems effortless and you feel like you have endless energy to complete the task. On the other hand if you are doing something you don’t enjoy and “have” to do it, then that task seems endless and your energy levels plummet. Having “energy” to perform  tasks requires physical as well as mental energy. Physical energy is dependent on what you eat and breathe, amount of sleep you need and how physically fit you are. Mental energy can be a mirror of our emotional state,  stress, and how much we are concentrating on any given task. Physical energy can be affect by light which influences alertness by stimulating the production of melatonin. Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland
