Preventative Fitness As you well know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. But did you know that one in eight women will get breast cancer at some point in her lifetime? It’s a disease that should be taken seriously and by becoming more aware of it this month, you can share the wealth of information to insure that number decreases over time. Believe it or not, the amount of time you are active can be a form of preventative care for breast cancer. Specific activities help more than others in staving off the disease as they decrease your estrogen hormone at a higher rate.
