Inspirational Female Athletes of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games

The 2016 Summer Olympic Games are here, and there has been continual controversy and hype surrounding the games in Rio. It is important to look past the negative publicity, and focus on the amazing athletes that have been training for years to live their dreams at an Olympic Games. Here are some inspirational female athletes to watch at this summer’s games that will provide motivation to all women across the globe. Sara Al-Attar, Lubna Al-Omair, Abu Al-Jadail, Wujud Fahmi – Saudi Arabia These four women will represent only the second group of female Olympians to ever represent Saudi Arabia, where women are banned from driving and must be under a male guardianship system.
